UOI We continued focusing on teamwork and cooperation. We learned to work well with each other by taking turns and communicating. We read the story 'Alexander's Outing' by Pamela Allen. It is about a young duckling who finds himself separated from his family in the park when he falls down a hole. A group of people from the park come together to save him. Later we worked together to save a duckling! Lily pad game: We played the lily pad game to understand the importance of cooperation We needed to use team work, and communication to get all our 16 team members across the 14 lily pads.
We also read the book 'It's Mine' by Leo Leonni. Three selfish frogs live together on an island in the middle of Rainbow Pond. All day long they bicker: It’s mine! It’s mine! It’s mine! But a bad storm and a big brown toad help them realize that sharing is much more fun.
