We had lots of fun in our 'Stage' role-play area. We moved our bodies to express how we were feeling . We used dressing up clothes, props, acting and musical instruments to helps us. Most of us were very shy when we went on the stage because it was a new experience being on a stage with people watching us! We took turns at being on the stage and being the audience. Maths We have been continuing with positional language. We did lots of activities that helped us to learn positional language and give directions. We played the 'Barrier' game, where we had to instruct our partner about the position of the cubes to make the same model. We could not see each others cubes as there was a barrier between us, we had to use the positional language to explain where the pieces go. It was a little bit tricky because we had to listen very carefully and then place the cubes in the right position. We made a maze out of wooden blocks and then had to direct the Beebot to a chosen destination in the maze. We played another game where we had to blindfold our partner and then direct them to a place in our classroom safely. We used the language forward, backward, left and right. We also played the game, 'Twister,' which focused on learning about left and right. In Literacy, we have been focusing on our reading and writing skills through, our daily 5 sessions.
