What do we play in our home country? Moving forward with our inquiry and making connection we looked at games played in our home countries. We discovered that although they may go by different countries, we find versions of these games in many different countries all over the globe. Ms Smita showed us how to play an Indian street game called 'Lagori'. A game of seven stones. Olivia, Archan and Keshav shared the Australian 'Boomerang'. Jiwoo and Ella taught us a Korean game called, 'moogoong hwa cote' (red light green light when played in english) and ' nam dae moon'. 'Nam do moon' is played in England too! We sing 'London bridge is falling down' when playing the same game said Esther! Amanda showed us how to play 'diu shou juan' (A- tisket, A-tasket)Eiji got a board game, 'shogi' which he plays with his mummy. Sofia, Gaku, and Sota said that they have this game in Japan in their houses too!
